About the role:

We are looking for an experienced account manager to join our small team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that newly-launched clients have an excellent experience using our platform and derive maximum value. You will be a strategist for our clients, working with them and their partners to align their goals with our platform’s capabilities and help them execute.

In this job, you can expect to:

  • Proactively work with dealers to identify ways to assist with their goals

  • Communicate with dealers via Slack, email, phone, and other mediums

  • Address dealer feedback and requests directly via our easy-to-use CMS

  • Meet with dealers on a regular basis over Zoom or similar platform

  • Train dealers on using the Motive interface and new consumer-facing features

  • Identify opportunities for service expansion

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for dealers on various website-related questions

  • Monitor dealer websites for any issues or potential improvements

  • Aim to create moments of delight for dealers

We are looking for someone who has/is:

  • Evidence of exceptional ability

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Thrives in technical settings and understands most technical concepts

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with great follow-through on initiatives big and small

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

  • Familiarity with customer support software and tools

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt

  • Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and not easily overwhelmed

Compensation: $48,000 to $60,000 in base salary.

  • This pay scale is inclusive of various prerequisites and levels of proficiency, and will be further narrowed throughout the interview process.

  • Your compensation will additionally include meaningful stock option compensation.

  • Motive contributes 100% of the cost of employees' and 50% of dependents’ health, dental, and vision insurance premiums.

Work Location:

Remote-friendly with an option of in-person in Oklahoma City. If you are in the Oklahoma City area, 4 days are required in-person per week. While Motive is headquartered in Oklahoma City, our team is fully distributed across the US. We are currently accepting applications from all US states.
