About the role
This is a remote or in-person role (in our Oklahoma City headquarters), working directly with the CEO to shape the future of our product and the automotive industry. You’ll be the person that turns our best ideas into a reality. You will own the end-to-end planning process: building the roadmap, setting priorities, scoping projects, and keeping execution predictable and of high quality. You’ll work closely with engineering, go-to-market teams, and customers to make sure that we are delivering the most value for our stakeholders as possible. This is a unique opportunity to be the first formal product hire and lay the foundation for how product management is done at Motive.
In this job, you can expect to:
Build a thesis for prioritization - one that balances business goals, customer needs, and delivery constraints
Create the frameworks, tools, and best practices that power world-class product operations, from prioritization and planning to release management and continuous improvement with the goal of predictable delivery, clear communication, and alignment across leadership and teams
Lead customer and market discovery by building and maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs, industry changes and competitive landscape - and use those insights to identify opportunities for the roadmap
Leverage Mixpanel analytics and other data to make decisions
Lead product launches and go-to-market by managing the end-to-end launch process; you will drive cross-functional coordination market rollout for all new features - educating internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders of new iterations.
We’re looking for someone who has/is:
2-7 years of product experience
Evidence of exceptional ability
Great product and design taste
Strategic and hands-on approach, comfortable with the big picture and with the details
Worked at a startup at Series A stage
Plug-and-play tactical and strategic frameworks in their arsenal
AI/ML experience in a professional capacity
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 annually
The pay scale is inclusive of various prerequisites and levels of proficiency, and will be further narrowed throughout the interview process.
Your compensation will additionally include meaningful stock option compensation.
Motive contributes 100% of the cost of employees' and 50% of dependents’ health, dental, and vision insurance premiums.
